Abbey Woods

Abbey has been with our dental office since 2012 as a Dental Hygienist. She is a Wyoming Native who found her way to Sheridan through the Dental Hygiene Program and the Big Horn Mountains. She and her family of 4 are now renovating a 100 year old farmhouse (one of the original farm stands). Through dentistry she is compassionate about connecting with her patients on a one to one basis and making a positive impact on their overall wellbeing. When not working in the clinical setting, Abbey is teaching at the local community Dental Hygiene Program, spending time with family with various sports, meditating, painting and living an active on the go lifestyle. Her family is quite creative and goofy. They like to play indoor and outdoor games as well as learn about new places when they travel. Some of her favorites include twice baked potatoes, Mediterranean food, the movie Tombstone, Theo of Golden and pickleball. Her favorite vacation spot is Myrtle Beach with dreams of going to New Zealand. Abbey aspires to be a competitive pickleball player and loves to make pottery. Abbey’s favorite part of being a part of the dental team is the collaboration with the dental team to help build trusted relationships and make patients feel comfortable, supported and welcomed.
